Stonebwoy has aimed direct shots at his perceived rival, Shatta Wale on Twitter, calling him a fanfooler.
Additionally, Stonebwoy suggested Shatta is not as clever as he thinks he is but merely engages in showmanship just to elevate his brand.
Stonebwoy issued a statement in reaction to a Twitter comment regarding the difficult circumstances faced by former Black Queens goalkeeper, Memunatu Sulemana. Ms. Sulemana, despite her illustrious career, reportedly earned a meager income during her time as a football player, which has contributed to her present predicament.
A Twitter user named Seyram commented on the situation, saying, “You see this is not music oo but what Shatta wale talk about everyday is relating to this chale we need to be smart enough ooo hmmm.”
Stonebwoy who was obviously not in agreement, responded, “Let me tell you, that smartness he is talking about is fanfooling…
If government doesn’t pay you, neither is the women football established.”

The recent viral news of former Black Queens’ number one goalkeeper, Memunatu Sulemana’s plight has shed light on her current living situation in a makeshift wooden kiosk located in Kaneshie, a suburb of Accra, Ghana.
Sulemana’s football career was illustrious, having been a part of Ghana’s historic 1999 FIFA World Cup team and continuing to represent her country in the 2003 and 2007 tournaments.
She played alongside legends such as Adjoa Bayor, Alerta Sackey, and Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, and also played for Post Ladies in Ghana and Pelican Stars in Nigeria’s Women’s Premier League. Despite her impressive achievements, Sulemana’s life has taken a devastating turn.
Her current dwelling, a fragile wooden structure with an old advertising banner, provides little shelter, especially during the rainy season. While many of her peers transitioned to various professions after retiring from football, the 45-year-old goalkeeper faces extreme poverty.
In an exclusive interview with Original TV, Sulemana revealed her struggles. Despite earning money from her football career, a significant portion was used to care for her diabetic grandmother. Until recently, she was the goalkeeper’s trainer for the Black Maidens of Ghana.
