Efia Odo has been vocal in her support for King Promise to win the Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TMGA).
She recently took to social media to express her opinion, stating that Stonebwoy is no match for King Promise when it comes to the award.
In a recent post, Efia criticized Stonebwoy for his obsession with awards and his rivalry with King Promise.
She mentioned that Stonebwoy’s desire for the Artiste of the Year award is fueled by his rivalry with Shatta Wale, who has previously won the award.
Efia also highlighted that rapper Sarkodie has won the award twice, which has led Stonebwoy to aggressively campaign for the award, claiming that he deserves it more than anyone else.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that Shatta Wale has actually won the award only once, contrary to Efia’s claim of two wins.
This discrepancy can be attributed to the fact that the artist has withdrawn from the event on multiple occasions and has faced a ban due to a past conflict with the award scheme’s boss.
Efia Odo in the post said; “I think it’s cuz Shatta and sark has won it twice so that means he too he wants it twice(I’ve not mentioned names ).
“The old man should should just leave it for the kids cuz it’s evident that numbers don’t lie. If you like let’s compare king promises numbers to others . If doing doing shows at the stadium is a yardstick, like fancy gadam Sef should win AOTY, SIMPLE 😂”
