Stonebwoy has disclosed to popular DJ and one-time musician Andy Dosty why he was unable to respond to King Promise’s congratulatory message after winning the Telecel Ghana Music (TGMAs) Artiste of the Year award.
Stonebwoy explained that he received numerous messages from fans, family, and colleagues, and unfortunately, he couldn’t reply to all of them, including King Promise’s message.
Given this, Stonebwoy clarified that there is no animosity between them, contrary to the widespread rumours.
During the interview on Hitz FM, host Andy Dosty inquired if Stonebwoy had seen King Promise’s congratulatory message after he secured the Artiste of the Year award, to which Stonebwoy confirmed that he had indeed seen it.
When asked if he had replied, Stonebwoy explained that he had received numerous messages of a similar nature and was unable to respond to all of them.
As previously published by Tru News News, despite his evident disappointment, King Promise managed to gather the strength to convey a sincere and warm congratulatory message to Stonebwoy via social media, acknowledging his well-deserved second Artiste of the Year triumph in the history of the awards.
In a subsequent message, he expressed gratitude to his countless fans for their unwavering backing. He also took the chance to mention his upcoming album titled True To Self, set to be released in a matter of days.
