Shatta Wale has criticized Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, referring to them as his junior colleagues in the music industry who need to show more humility.
During a discussion with his friends Medikal and Jupitar, Wale highlighted the challenges he faced due to industry sabotage and criticized the gatekeepers for perpetuating negative energy towards other artists.
He emphasized that this behaviour has hindered the industry’s progress and marginalized talented artists.
Wale urged Stonebwoy and Sarkodie to address industry problems instead of portraying a false image of success, suggesting that they are struggling financially.
He encouraged them to speak out and address the industry’s shortcomings. The footage of their roundtable discussion was shared on the TikTok platform of On Dem TV.
Similarly, Shatta Wale boldly criticized Gyankroma Addo, the daughter of Nana Akufo-Addo, over her recent comment that her outfit would implement a new creative card to expedite visa acquisition by Ghanaian artists.
In a post on his Facebook page, Wale shared a screenshot of the story reported by Asaase Radio and referred to Gyankroma as a mumu girl highlighting his disagreement with her stance as the Executive Director of the Creative Arts Industry.
He accused the Nana Akufo-Addo administration of incompetence and corruption, questioning the timing of the policy introduction just months before the end of their tenure.
Shatta Wale expressed scepticism about the government’s intentions, suggesting that the policy serves to perpetuate corruption rather than benefit the music industry and creative sector.
