Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has reportedly come into a fortune of ₦3.5 billion through a trust fund established by the family of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin.
This revelation has drawn attention to her recent return to Nigeria, where she is said to have accessed significant funds.
Reports from gossip blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus indicate that the trust fund, titled Estate of Jaiye Aboderin, was created by the Aboderin family following Jaiye’s passing in 2004.
The fund was designed to ensure financial security for the two daughters Damasus had with Jaiye, growing significantly over the years due to interest and other investments.
Damasus, who has lived in the United States for many years, is believed to have relocated to Nigeria temporarily in early 2024 after learning about the fund.

“This fund was established with the best intentions for Jaiye’s daughters,” a source close to the family explained.
“The money was never meant to be public knowledge, but Stella has always been protective of her daughter’s welfare, and this is a testament to how much the family valued his children.”
Damasus has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, focusing on raising her daughters and building her career in the U.S. However, her reported return to Nigeria has sparked curiosity about her future plans and whether she intends to stay in the country long-term.
Jaiye Aboderin passed away tragically in 2004. His death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, but his legacy now seems to be providing a financial lifeline for his children.
