The music industry is abuzz with the latest feud between female rappers Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom, who have ignited a war of words through the release of diss tracks aimed at each other.
The ongoing beef, which has captured the attention of fans and the media, has seen both artists exchange lyrical jabs, marking a dramatic start to the year. The beef is believed to have started due to rumours surrounding their romantic connections with Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
Stefflon Don, a British rapper and singer known for her bold and unapologetic style, fired the first shot with the release of “Dat A Dat,” a patois-infused track that took aim at an unnamed target. The song, which was previewed last week and officially dropped on January 9, 2024, has been widely interpreted as a direct response to her rumoured romantic entanglements involving Afrobeats star Burna Boy and his alleged association with Jada Kingdom.

In a swift and fiery retaliation, Jada Kingdom, a Jamaican reggae singer and model, responded with her own diss track titled “London Bed,” further fueling the escalating feud.
However, Jada Kingdom has since announced in an Instagram post that she is ending the feud out of respect for her new relationship with rapper Pardison Fontaine.
“I’m in a happy and healthy relationship now; I won’t be prolonging this nonsense,” she wrote.
