A newly unveiled statue of Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, leader of the Believers Worship Center, popularly known as the ‘Philadelphia Movement,’ has ignited discussions online.

A viral video shows church members, dressed in all-white, unveiling the sculpture in what appears to be an act of deep admiration for their spiritual leader.

Reports suggest the statue was created to recognize his contributions, not just to the church but to Ghanaians at large.

Designed with striking accuracy, the artwork captures the Prophet’s likeness, including his signature attire. However, its unveiling has drawn divided opinions on social media.

While some applaud the gesture as a fitting tribute, others argue that it leans toward idolization and contradicts biblical teachings.

This isn’t the first time Prophet Kyei-Duah has been honored in such a manner. His followers hold him in high esteem, with Kumawood actor LilWin—also a church member—once publicly acknowledging the deep reverence many have for him.
