Sonnie Badu has provided a set of instructions to Chris Hughton regarding the composition of his starting eleven in the next game the Black Stars will play against Egypt.
Chris Hughton’s team selection during the match against Cape Verde caused surprise and disappointment, as it resulted in a humiliating defeat. This outcome has angered many Ghanaians, leading to reports of a physical attack on Chris at the team’s hotel after the game.
Sonnie Badu, known for his involvement in issues relating to sports, politics and entertainment in Ghana, expressed his disappointment with Salisu’s poor performance in a video shared on Instagram.
In his words, Salisu’s performance contributed to Ghana conceding a late goal against Cape Verde. In the match, Jamiro Monteiro scored in the 17th minute after Carbral’s shot was deflected.
However, the Black Stars managed to equalize when Alexander Djiku, who was named Man of the Match, headed in a corner from Jordan Ayew.
Unfortunately, Ghana’s weak defence and lack of concentration resulted in conceding a late goal, handing Cape Verde a memorable victory.
Nevertheless, Sonnie Badu firmly believes that the Black Stars will improve if the coach makes changes to the lineup and implements the correct tactics.
