Radio and television personality Oheneni Adazoa has shared with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay show that she has been married for twenty years without having a child.

She described the experience as traumatic but expressed her hope of having a child with her husband before her life came to an end.

Furthermore, Oheneni, whose real name is  Mrs. Genevieve Abrefa Yeboah sadly disclosed that she is her parent’s only child, a circumstance that led to her mother’s passing, as she could not cope with the reality of not having more than one child.

”I’ve been married for twenty years. I don’t have a child yet but I’m still in search of one. It is not easy,” adding that “it’s been a tough journey”.

“What I want people to be aware of is that it is not the wish of anyone to go into marriage and not have offspring.

“I’m the only daughter and my mother died last year. This I think was part of the reasons why she died because she got worn out worrying about the fact that she’s not been able to have children,” the host of Sompa Nkommo said.

During the Valentine’s Day celebration last year, Oheneni shared the story of how she first met her husband, Mr. Clement Abrefa. She recounted that a misdialed phone number, which she mistakenly dialled while attempting to contact her sister in Ghana from London, ultimately led to their connection.

“My meeting with my wife was divine, it was ordained by God, I never cohabitated with my wife before we got married, we never had any sexual encounter before married”.

Mrs. Genevieve Abrefa on her part said she called the wrong number through which she met her husband and described her husband as loving and God-fearing.

“I was in London trying to reach my sister in Ghana, I misdialed my number and got Clement, after the call, I told a friend of mine and she asked me to keep the number until we come to Ghana, so I went to the office and told one Mr. Acquah about it, he told me he’s a great guy and I must be married to him” she narrated.

According to the outspoken presenter, a conversation between her and the husband lasted for a year before they got married.
