Famed Ghanaian vocalist Yvonne Ohene Djan has recently revealed a list of musicians she was unable to collaborate with.
Despite lending her remarkable voice to numerous Ghanaian musicians covering various genres, there were a select few top-tier artists she couldn’t work alongside.
During a radio interview on Accra-based Adom FM monitored by Tru News Report, Yvonne disclosed that she regretfully couldn’t collaborate with Aamakye Dede and the late Paapa Yankson, despite their interest in working with her.
However, she expressed her remorse for not being able to work with these esteemed artists.
In the case of Paapa Yankson, she mentioned that she eventually contributed to his posthumous song, which turned out to be a great success.

Days ago, Tru News Report reported on Yvonne shedding light on one of the classic songs that she collaborated on with Daddy Lumba.
Known professionally as SHE, she revisited the song’s introduction during an interview with Abieku Santana on Okay FM.
It became evident that Ghanaians had been misinterpreting the lyrics of the song, as SHE showcased the essence of the song in acapella form during the interview.
She explained that the words in the song were not in any specific language, but rather a creation to complement the song’s rhythm.
SHE mentioned that Daddy Lumba appreciated her contribution, even though she mentioned she had more to add. Despite this, Lumba decided to finalize the song with the input she had already provided.
