Sugarcane hitmaker Camidoh has shared his wisdom on how to cope with heartbreak.
Adopting a philosophical and therapeutic approach, Camidoh encouraged people to seek professional help and confide in others about their struggles, drawing from his own experience.
During an interview with DJ Slim on Hitz FM, the singer whose Sugarcane remix is the biggest Ghanaian song on YouTube in terms of viewership, shared this advice about his latest single, which delves deep into the theme of heartbreak.
Titled Nothing Lasts Forever, the song authentically narrates a real-life story through its poignant lyrics, captivating melodies, and rhythmic composition.
Camidoh took charge of the song’s production alongside Nawtyboi Tattoo and Baba Wood.
Furthermore, Camidoh highlighted that the song explores the highs and lows of love, urging listeners to approach their relationships with a sense of rationality to minimize the pain he endured.
“Go through therapy, talk to somebody, be open about it; it’s fine,” he advised people going through ‘broken heart.’
He then added; “I wouldn’t say much but losing a partner I loved very much to a few arguments or misunderstandings here and there hurts so bad,” he says indicating that the incident has nothing to do with infidelity.
“I made a lot of life-long plans with this person,” he added.
