Actress Shugatiti recently spoke with Fiifi Praat on Kingdom FM, revealing her experiences with employee theft and the negative attitudes of young workers that can harm businesses.

She emphasized that the widespread belief in high unemployment is misleading.

Shuga said as a business owner of a restaurant, she has witnessed firsthand the behaviour of young employees.

Shugatiti recounted a specific incident where some of her staff stole from her and profited from her food and beverages intended for sale.

Additionally, she mentioned that some of her employees believe she is financially supported by sugar daddies, leading them to attempt to undermine her business efforts.

In 2023, Shugatiti disclosed that the government intervened to halt her practice of serving food in clay pots shaped like genitalia.

She mentioned that the Ghana Tourism Authority issued her a letter requesting that she refrain from using these provocative pots, citing concerns that her establishment is not suitable for children.

“Ghana Tourism Authority served me a letter discouraging me from the use of my penis-shaped pot. They indicated that it isn’t safe for children.

“So now, we no longer serve with those pots…ever since I opened my shop, government officials have been disturbing me. You can’t operate a business in Ghana if you’re not strong,” she said in an interview at that time.
