Davido has shared heartfelt insights into his relationship with his wife, Chioma Rowland.
During an appearance on The Morning Hustle podcast, the Afrobeats icon spoke candidly about the depth of their connection and the pivotal role she has played in his life.
“Without Chioma, I wouldn’t have gotten married. There’s no point,” Davido declared, his tone filled with sincerity.
Their love story, which spans over a decade, began long before the fame and fortune he enjoys today.
“She has been my girl for like 12, 13 years,” he revealed, highlighting their enduring bond that predates his rise to international stardom.

Reflecting on their early days, Davido described a time when his career was still in its infancy. “I was famous, but I wasn’t like big. I was kind of okay.
“Now I’m making like 5 to 6 hundred thousand dollars for a show on a good day. I’m making more,” he said, acknowledging the financial milestones he has achieved.
However, what stood out most was his acknowledgement of Chioma’s unwavering loyalty during those formative years.
“She was with me when I was making 2 thousand dollars. She is my friend,” he added, underscoring the strength of their friendship and support for one another.
