Stonebwoy has commended Efia Odo for her ‘honourable’ apology regarding the remarks she made against him while backing King Promise just days before the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
After expressing regret for her series of negative comments directed at Stonebwoy and her public apology on UTV’s United Showbiz, the two reconciled at the All Black Party held at Ridge Condos in Kumasi.
In a conversation with MC Portfolio, Stonebwoy recognized that Efia Odo’s behavior was an overreaction in her support of King Promise, and he appreciated her subsequent apology.
“What she (Efia Odo) said is her opinion. And it was very obvious to every person who uses Twitter and social media to realise that she was advocating for a friend like she says. She realised that she overstepped the boundaries, and went back through whatever means to go and apologise.
“The most important thing is that she realised that she had to do what she did,” he stated.
It would be recalled that during an appearance on United Showbiz on UTV on July 27, which was monitored by GhanaStreetJournal, Efia Odo publicly apologized to Stonebwoy.
She acknowledged that her previous remarks about Stonebwoy were inappropriate and expressed her sincere apologies.
Odo apologised saying “I acknowledge that my comments about Stonebwoy were disrespectful, and I take full responsibility for them. I spoke out of emotion, and I retract my statements and sincerely apologize.”
