The rivalry between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale has escalated as the SM boss has publicly extended an invitation to his rival for a face-off in a post shared on social media.
This lyrical contest aims to resolve their longstanding dispute and clarify who rightfully holds the title of Dancehall artist, or more specifically, Dancehall King.
Shatta Wale has suggested the Accra Sports Stadium as the venue for this event, urging all parties involved to collaborate in organizing it in a manner that avoids any confrontations between their respective fan bases.
He emphasized that if Stonebwoy does not seize this chance to assert his dominance, it could tarnish his reputation.
Furthermore, Shatta Wale warned that failing to accept the challenge would lead to Stonebwoy being labeled a Reggae artist instead of a Dancehall performer, which is central to their ongoing conflict.
“I am issuing a formal challenge to @stonebwoy and his fans to meet me at the Accra Sports Stadium to resolve the ‘Dancehall King’ title dispute.
“If he and his fans decline this invitation, he should refrain from identifying as a Dancehall artiste, as I consider him a Reggae artiste.
