As anticipated, Shatta Wale has personally addressed Stonebwoy’s recent remarks regarding his stance on celebrities ‘spraying’ money to fans.
In a recent interview, Stonebwoy elaborated on his stance regarding the practice of throwing money into the crowd during events or public appearances.
The Dancehall artist expressed that he considers it disrespectful to engage in what is commonly referred to as “money spraying.”
He highlighted the potential risks involved, noting that fans might inadvertently harm one another in their eagerness to grab the cash.
Instead, Stonebwoy prefers to hand the money to his aides, who then distribute it to the fans, a method he believes is more appropriate and considerate.
While Stonebwoy did not specifically name any celebrity or artist in his remarks, Shatta Wale, recognized for spraying cash to his fans during performances or public appearances, explained his reasoning in light of Stonebwoy’s comments.
He stated that his method is distinct and influenced by the economic challenges facing the country.
Shatta Wale emphasized that he prays over the money he gives away, hoping that those who receive it experience positive changes in their lives.
Speaking on Facebook Live, Wale said;
“You see how hard they want to fight me for throwing money to my fans and rubbish it in our faces? When I go live p3? Them go talk say man no deh respect?
“Do you think I will throw money if the system works well? Do you even understand the current economic situation at all in Ghana?
