Media personality and entertainment pundit Sally Mann has once again stirred the waters with her comments on Shatta Wale.
Appearing on Joy Prime’s “Changes” show with Roselyn Felli, monitored by Ghanastreetjournal, Sally criticized the self-acclaimed dancehall king’s artistry, questioning his musical abilities.
“Shatta Wale is not a musician; he’s just a noise maker,” Sally asserted bluntly. She elaborated on her perspective, explaining that while Shatta Wale has an undeniable presence in the music industry, his output lacks the substance and finesse that define true musicianship.
“Music should move people and stand the test of time, but most of what he puts out are just sounds to create hype,” she added.
Despite her harsh critique, Sally acknowledged Shatta Wale’s remarkable ability to market himself and his brand, which has helped him gain widespread popularity. “He knows how to play the game, but that doesn’t make him a great musician,” she said.
