Shatta Wale has reacted to allegations that some industry insiders have been conspiring against him.
The revelation came from Sally Mann, a prominent entertainment critic, who admitted on Adom TV that she and several industry “gatekeepers” had strategized to advance Stonebwoy’s career while sidelining Shatta Wale, citing the latter’s ongoing disregard for the media.
According to Sally Mann, a concerted effort began three years ago to promote Stonebwoy, partly to counter Shatta Wale’s influence and image in the media.
“For the past three years, we’ve held caucus meetings to push your agenda because Shatta Wale doesn’t respect traditional media,” Sally said on air.
She explained that they envisioned Stonebwoy as a potential Grammy contender, hoping to propel him to international fame by setting him up as a media favourite. “We came together to push you toward winning a Grammy.

“But now, you’re deviating from the plan by responding to Shatta Wale. How dare you respond to him?” Sally expressed her disappointment in Stonebwoy for what she considered unnecessary engagement with Shatta, whom they were intentionally trying to sideline.
For Shatta Wale, the revelation is both a point of frustration and a kind of validation. “Dem say dem do meeting to bring me down ooo,” he posted, reacting to the news with his characteristic blend of indignation and defiance.
Known for his outspoken and often controversial opinions, Shatta Wale has a history of turbulent relationships with both the media and fellow artists.
His brash persona and public feuds are almost legendary, and his relationship with the media has frequently been rocky.
Yet, it’s this same spirit that has propelled him to become one of the most influential figures in Ghana’s music industry, cultivating a massive fan base both at home and abroad.
