Days after successfully raising an impressive GHC 30,000 via TikTok, Shatta Wale has proceeded to donate the funds to Buzz Stop Boys as originally planned.
The donation was specifically intended to support the group’s voluntary cleaning campaign.
The generous act took place during a community service event at Alajo T-junction, catching the group by surprise as they were actively engaged in their cleaning activities.
Unsurprisingly, a large crowd gathered around Shatta Wale upon learning of his presence.
The Dancehall artist emerged from his vehicle and, accompanied by security personnel, presented a symbolic check to the group, indicating the substantial sum of GHC 30,000.
Shatta Wale even joined the group in their cleanup efforts, demonstrating his commitment to the cause.
Tru News Report previously reported that Shatta Wale demonstrated his star power by swiftly the aforementioned money to support Buz Stop Boys, a group of young men dedicated to cleaning the streets voluntarily.
During a TikTok live video call, a content creator challenged Wale to gather GHC 10,000 from his fans within the same time frame to aid the commendable cause of Buz Stop Boys.
Wale accepted the challenge and exceeded expectations by raising more than GHC 30,000, leaving the host thoroughly impressed.
He proudly boasted about his significant influence, claiming that no other Ghanaian artist holds as much sway as he does.
Buz Stop Boys started with just five members but now has a total of forty-five people. Their main goal is to clean busy areas, making the surroundings more pleasant for locals and tourists alike.
