Selena Boateng caused a stir on Monday, March 6, at the Celestial Praiz event in Accra, Ghana, when she fell flat on her back while trying to dance.
The highly anticipated tenth installment of gospel singer Celestine Donkor’s yearly concert, Celestial Praiz, took place at the Dominion Sanctuary of the Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra, Ghana.
She was so moved by the music of her fellow musical colleague, Piesie Esther, that she began to dance. Everything was going swimmingly until Selena Boateng raised the bar with her dancing skills. She made a feeble effort to swing her feet towards Piesie. A mistake in Esther’s rhythm led to her embarrassing fall in front of the audience. Some of the people there helped the singer get back on her feet, and the dancing kept going.
Besides Celestine Donkor, the list of artistes at this year’s event was among the most impressive ever gathered. Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, and Kofi Karikari were among the biggest names in gospel music who performed at the event.
In addition to musical performances, Celestial Praiz included compelling messages from a number of well-known pastors and spiritual leaders.
