Entertainment pundit Vida Adutwumwaa opened up about the deep emotional scars left behind after the tragic deaths of Maame Dwomoh and Justine, two young girls who lost their lives in a horrifying vehicle fire.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Vida’s voice trembled as she expressed the collective grief felt by the victims’ community.
“This incident has shaken us all to the core,” she said, conveying the profound impact of the tragedy.
The girls’ school, which had been a second home to them and many others, has since been closed indefinitely.
Vida explained that the decision was made by the school administration to allow both students and staff time to heal from the trauma.
“The administration decided it was necessary to give everyone time to heal,” she said, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being during such a challenging time.
The vivid, painful memories of the accident continue to haunt those who witnessed or heard about the girls’ final moments.
Vida shared the anguish felt by the students who were particularly close to the deceased, recalling how they are grappling with the heart-wrenching image of Maame Dwomoh and Justine trapped in the burning vehicle, crying out for help.
“It’s heartbreaking to see my friends struggling with these haunting images,” she said, her words a reflection of the widespread emotional devastation.
