Sarkodie has responded to allegations made by Ghana Crimes’ Twitter page that the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Afia Asabea Asare spent 100,000 cedis (1 billion old Ghana cedis) on a 3-minute video documentary about her management.
Ghana Crimes on November 7, citing an audit report, said that the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) paid 100,000 cedis for a three-minute management video documentary, which was granted to Yaw Pare Photography through sole sourcing.
Sarkodie weighed in on the trending issue and provided his own viewpoint, claiming there was no misconduct in this development that has become intensely focused on the grapevine.
The veteran rapper who spends a lot of money on graphics for his works, claims that the amount mentioned is what they frequently use and that there is nothing wrong with it.
Ghana Crimes shared the message on Twitter, saying,

In reaction, Sarkodie said,
Don’t know the details and if there’s evidence that she lied then that’s a problem, but if people are doubting a 3-minute doc could cost that much, then y’all need some education… my tour “announcement” video not doc or music video was close to that amount (of course camera, concept, etc. will play part) our space (creative industry) is very expensive.
