During an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3, the wife of renowned Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie shared insights into their ‘fun routine’ at home.
According to her, they have a special tradition called ‘Adult Time’ where they spend the night out, reminiscent of their dating days, a proclamation that has succeeded in adding an aura to entertainment in Ghana.
Tracy also emphasized that one of the reasons she admires Sarkodie is his unwavering determination and clear vision for his future endeavors.
Tracy revealed that during the time Sarkodie was pursuing her, she resided in Germany and had contemplated whether he should join her there. She admitted to having doubts about Sarkodie’s music career at that point.
A fun routine would be, usually let’s say on Fridays, we try to just make sure that we’re having adult time. We go on date once a week. We try at least to go on a date once a week. So if let’s say it’s Friday or something, he lets me know that tonight we are going out, so then I make sure I come back from work, and then I dress up,” she added.
Sarkodie and Tracy tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Labadi Beach Hotel in 2018. Before their wedding, they celebrated their traditional marriage at Community 18 in Tema.
Having been in a relationship for more than a decade, the couple is blessed with a beautiful daughter named Adalyn, who is now two years old.
Notable personalities such as Peter Okoye (from P Square), Juliet Ibrahim, Joselyn Dumas, Kofi Okyere Darko and his wife Ophelia, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, and many more graced the occasion, making it a star-studded affair.
