Stonebwoy has mentioned in an interview that Samini, his boss and mentor, has not contacted him through a call or text following his successful night at the 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
Despite winning six awards, including the prestigious Artiste of the Night title, Stonebwoy revealed that Samini has not reached out to him either privately or publicly.
During his interview with Abeiku Santana, Stonebwoy also addressed questions about his performance at the awards, his accomplishments, and the criticism directed towards his friend Mohammed Kudus.
This year’s Artiste of the Year category included Sarkodie, Nacee, and Black Sherif. Stonebwoy’s win marked the second time he has won the TGMAs coveted prize.
In his acceptance speech, Stonebwoy expressed gratitude to his fans, team, and wife for their unwavering support.
The Ashaiman-based superstar highlighted his dedication and consistency as the key factors behind his success, attributing his achievements to hard work.
He also added that he acknowledged the hate being targeted at him by a section of Ghanaians which is inevitable due to his position as a top player in the industry, adding he remains unfazed by it.
“I just want to say thanks to the Most High God. Thank you mama wherever you are, thank you for showering your blessings upon your son. I wrote a long speech but I am lost for words,” Stonebwoy said.
