Sally Mann has disclosed the primary reason behind Efia Odo’s lack of respect for Stonebwoy during her punditry work on Power FM.
She noted that following Efia’s aggressive criticisms of Stonebwoy in the lead-up to the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, particularly concerning the Artist of the Year prize, she felt compelled to investigate the motivations behind Efia’s unprovoked attacks.
Her findings revealed that Efia Odo, who is currently operating a restaurant, had sought an endorsement from Stonebwoy that ultimately did not materialize. This disappointment prompted her to target him on social media.
Sally explained that Stonebwoy’s decision not to proceed with the endorsement left Efia feeling slighted, leading her to resort to harsh criticisms as a means of addressing past grievances during the TGMAs.
“Efia Odo runs a restaurant and wanted promotion. Per my investigation, she wanted Stonebwoy to promote her business, and because that didn’t happen, she went around throwing shots at him,” she stated on PowerFM.
When prompted by the host about Efia Odo’s subsequent apology to Stonebwoy, Sally responded:
“What apology? That’s not an apology. If you apologise and you keep doing it, it means you’re not sorry.”
