The final funeral rites for the late actor, John Paul Obumneme Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope was conducted on Friday, May 17 and as expected, the solemn ceremony was filled with sorrow and sadness.
An emotional moment unfolded when the actor’s eldest son broke down in tears while witnessing his father’s final moments on earth.
A video shared online captured the young boy surrounded by family members, struggling to contain his emotions at the funeral.
Despite the efforts of older relatives to console him with comforting words, the boy remained inconsolable during his father’s burial.
Junior Pope was laid to rest in his hometown of Ukehe, Enugu State, with images and videos from the heartbreaking event circulating on the internet, including his grieving wife holding their youngest child.
It is important to mention that the actor tragically lost his life in a drowning incident in the Anam River, Anambra State.
