Rita Dominic has recently landed in Ghana for a new project, months after she participated in the Women of Valour empowerment project led by Nana Aba Anamoah.
This time, she is set to star in a movie called Two of a Kind, produced by Shirley Frimpong Manso.
During a press launch in Accra on Saturday, July 7, Rita Dominic expressed her excitement to be part of Shirley’s new project.
The Nollywood veteran emphasized her connection to the script, highlighting the vibrancy of the theme and its potential resonance with audiences across Africa.
“This is a lovely script. It’s about love, it’s about life, and kind of deals with some of the issues people are dealing with.

“So, I like that it touches on everything. It’s a feel-good movie and I think it will cut across different generations. I’m looking forward to the success,” the award-winning Nigerian actress said.
Shirley Frimpong-Manso expressed her delight in collaborating with screen icon Rita Dominic for her film, emphasizing the significant potential she brings to the project.
“Rita brings a fresh approach to her characters, and this is exactly what this production needs,” says Frimpong-Manso.
Shirley Frimpong-Manso, a Ghanaian filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer, is the visionary behind Sparrow Productions, a renowned film, television, and advertising production company.
Her exceptional talent was recognized when she clinched the Best Director award at the 6th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
Frimpong-Manso is also a key figure at Sparrow Station, a leading video streaming platform showcasing African entertainment from Sparrow Productions and other notable film producers across the continent.
In 2013, she was listed as the 48th most influential individual in Ghana by E.tv Ghana.
