In a fiery response to Stonebwoy’s recent comments, Ghanaian musician Skrewfaze has made it clear that he’s not concerned about gaining a feature on his younger brother’s hit song, “Jejereje,” despite expressing his willingness to collaborate.
Skrewfaze, who has been a prominent figure in the industry for years, took to social media to address Stonebwoy’s claim that a feature from him wouldn’t add any commercial value to the track.
“My little brother (Stonebwoy), I want to say I am proud of your achievements. But let’s get this straight, I want you to understand that I am not anxious for any feature,” Skrewfaze stated. “The only reason why I did that live TikTok freestyle of your song was because of the messages I was receiving in my inbox from my fans.”

The situation escalated after Stonebwoy, the internationally recognized dancehall star, remarked in an interview that including Skrewfaze on “Jejereje” would not provide any significant commercial benefit to the song.
His comment clearly didn’t sit well with Skrewfaze, who responded with a mix of pride, disappointment, and self-respect.
“I respect your decision,” Skrewfaze continued, “but one thing you should know is I am one of the people who laid the foundation for you.
“I’ve been here long before you came into the limelight. But one thing you should also understand is that I don’t know the plans you have with your team on that song.”
Skrewfaze made it clear that his willingness to collaborate was rooted in mutual respect for both Stonebwoy’s career and his own.
“That’s why I said if your team should reach out, I wouldn’t mind doing a verse on it. Because of self-respect, that is why I asked you to call me. As an artist, you should know how things are done in the industry.”
