Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Rema has surprised fans with the release of his highly anticipated new album, ‘HEIS,’ making waves in entertainment news.
The 11-track project, which dropped July 10 on all major streaming platforms, marks a significant milestone in the young artist’s already impressive career.
‘HEIS’, presumably short for “He Is,” showcases Rema’s growth as an artist since his breakout in 2019. The album features a collection of tracks that blend Rema’s signature melodic style with new sonic explorations, pushing the boundaries of the Afrobeats genre.
While the full tracklist is still being digested by fans, early listeners report a diverse range of sounds, from up-tempo dance tracks to more introspective ballads. The album is said to feature several high-profile collaborations, though details are still emerging.
Shallipopi features on a standout track number 5, “Benin Boys,” as well as ODUMODUBLVACK on track number 8, “War Machine.”
Rema, known for his chart-topping hits like “Calm Down” and “Dumebi,” has been teasing new music on social media for weeks, building anticipation among his global fanbase.
He recently took to X to announce his new dimension. However, he didn’t caption his fate, but several sources confirmed that he was unveiling his record Label. This came shortly after sources alleged that Rema secretly exited Mavin Record Label, Terminating his contract and paying off his Boss, Don Jazzy’s fifteen-year contract. The alleged Record Label embodies Bat logo bidding to Rema’s Benin root, which he has always endorsed to his fans. Since the news went viral, Nigerians have deployed their congratulatory messages to his grand.
