Bullet has officially confirmed the rumours surrounding a growing conflict between himself and his artist Wendy Shay.
The owner of Rufftown Records and talent scout revealed that the situation has escalated to the point where Shay has departed from his record label and is preparing to sign a lucrative deal with a label based in the United States.
During an interview at Accra FM, Bullet emphasized that their disagreement is not a publicity stunt, as his reputable brand transcends such antics. Bullet, whose real name is Ricky Nana Agyemang, also mentioned that Wendy Shay’s mother has flown in from America to assist in resolving the dispute.
Despite Nana Romeo’s persistent inquiries about the nature of the conflict, Bullet remained tight-lipped, stating that he was actively working towards a resolution.
Wendy Shay gave fans a hint about the seeming animosity in the camp when she indirectly told fans that she had left Rufftown Records.
To provide more clarity, Wendy Shay reached out to her loyal fanbase, known as the Shay Gang, and encouraged them to stream her new music on a different platform that she plans to announce soon.
Additionally, she revealed that she has created a new YouTube account and urged her fans to subscribe to her songs there.
It is worth mentioning that Wendy Shay has been under the management of Rufftown Records for the past six years, during which the label has overseen the release of her successful tracks.
Bullet recruited Wendy Shay to replace the late Ebony, who tragically passed away in a car accident on February 8, 2018.
