Broadcast journalist Serwaa Amihere has once again found herself in the spotlight after playfully requesting money from a Twitter user on social media.
The man, Sage Kenny, highlighted the extent of the current economic challenges in the country by revealing that he had spent GHC 5,000 in just one week.
Sage admitted that he was unsure of how he had spent the money, but noted that it had quickly disappeared within seven days.
While the post generated an overwhelming response from Ghanaians, Serwaa’s lighthearted request for mobile money (MoMo) from the man sparked a flurry of reactions from Ghanaians, further fueling the conversation online.
Replying to Serwaa Amihere, a Twitter user, DreUtd questioned her, asking “The 2.5k a week nu eno reach you?”
Another netizen also asked “Henry sika anso wo? Eii maame woy3 wodini ooo”.

Meanwhile, a recent update obtained by Tru News Report has shed light on the ongoing Serwaa Amihere and Henry Fitz controversy.
Fitz has accused Serwaa Amihere of attempting to use the police to intimidate him, cautioning her about potential severe repercussions if she proceeds with her alleged plans.
Fitz, a former billionaire who mysteriously lost his fortune, disclosed that Serwaa and her ‘conspirators’ are pressuring him to apologize and disavow certain statements he made to protect the reputations of Amihere and her colleagues.
He stated that he rejected the demands and has challenged the police to issue a warrant for his arrest to see what unfolds next.
Fitz stated that he is ready to disclose damaging information about Serwaa Amihere if he persists with this line of action.
