Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah expressed his delight in Ghana, emphasizing his enjoyment of Ghanaian cuisine since his arrival.
He expressed gratitude towards Lilwin, the producer and writer of the movie A Country Called Ghana in which he stars alongside Nigerian actors Victor Osuagwu and Charles Awurum, as well as other Ghanaian actors.
During an interview with YouTuber and journalist, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, Nouah credited Lilwin for introducing him to the delicious dishes of Waakye and Aponkye Nkrakra.
He took the opportunity to praise Lilwin and acknowledge the warm reception he and his colleagues from Nigeria have received from him.
In related news, Lilwin decided to temporarily halt the production of his highly anticipated film, A Country Called Ghana, following the unfortunate passing of Nigerian comic actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.
The entire cast was present on set when they received the heartbreaking news, leading the actor, who had previously collaborated with Mr Ibu on the film Sure Banker, to request a pause in filming.
The break was not only to allow the cast and crew to grieve but also to provide the Nigerian actors involved in the movie, such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awuram, and Victor Osuagwu (also known as Awilo Sharp Sharp), who are being directed by Fiifi Garbin, with the necessary time to mourn the loss of their colleague.
Mr Ibu passed away on Saturday at the age of 62 at Evercare Hospital, as reported by multiple sources close to him. Fans have since been expressing their condolences on social media, recalling the movies he starred in.
Since October 2023, the actor faced several health challenges and had to undergo several surgeries, resulting in the amputation of his leg. However, his family provided updates in November, suggesting that he was on the path to recovery.
