His death occurred on Sunday night at his residence in Bel Air, California, as confirmed by his representative, Arnold Robinson. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
The Jones family released a statement expressing their sorrow: “With heavy hearts, we share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing tonight. While this is an immense loss for our family, we choose to celebrate the remarkable life he lived, knowing that there will never be another like him.”

His collaboration with Michael Jackson marked a defining moment in pop music history, beginning in 1979 with the release of “Off the Wall.” This album not only solidified Jackson’s status as a solo artist but also sold an estimated 20 million copies worldwide, showcasing Jones’s production prowess.
