Ghanaian musician and poet, Pure Akan, has released his much-anticipated new album, “Odo Awaamu“.
The 8-track project, which debuted on Thursday, September 12, 2024, continues to showcase the artiste’s lyrical depth and unique fusion of traditional Ghanaian sounds with modern Highlife rhythms.
Earlier this year, Pure Akan had dropped two singles—”Time to Love Again” and “Odo Aduane“—though only “Odo Aduane” made the final cut on the album.

“Odo Awaamu” marks the artiste’s third body of work, following the success of previous projects. This new release is a celebration of love, unity, and culture, as reflected in its title.
The album also features exciting collaborations with some of Ghana’s finest talents. Fameye, known for his hit songs and soulful voice, adds a special touch to the project. Other standout features include Marince Omario and Titi Owusu, who bring their own flavor to the album, creating a diverse and captivating listening experience.
