Maverick Ghanaian pastor, Nicholas Osei, known affectionately as Prophet Kumchach has publicly apologized to John Dramani Mahama for his previous harsh criticism during his presidency.
The outspoken prophet acknowledged that after witnessing the disappointing governance of Nana Akaufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, he now realizes that Mahama performed exceptionally well during his time in power, despite the relatively short duration.
Kumchacha emphasized that the current economic challenges, including prolonged periods of power outages, have been even more severe since Mahama’s tenure ended.
“If I ever criticized you on anything relating to dumsor, cedi depreciation, fuel, and any other thing, please forgive me. Compared to what we are facing now, you’re an angel,” Kumchacha as quoted by AdomOnline.
Meanwhile, a former Upper East Regional Minister, Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh has expressed strong confidence in John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the upcoming general presidential elections in December.
He emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has transformative policies and practical programs that will significantly improve the lives of Ghanaians.
Additionally, he criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for undermining the achievements of the previous NDC government in meeting the country’s developmental needs, while promising a brighter future for Ghanaians under the NDC leadership.
“There is no way NPP can win. Even if we just decide not to even campaign from now. It’s because there is a need for people to understand that we have a manifesto, we have policies and practical programmes that we are going to implement to make lives even better.
