While Yvonne Nelson’s ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ book continues to draw varied reactions from Ghanaians and beyond, actor Prince David Osei has shared his opinion in a fiery manner.

The Ghanaian actor, who also honed his acting expertise in Nollywood, stated unequivocally that Ghanaians have not been fair to Yvonne Nelson, revealing that society has biasedly leaned towards chauvinism at the detriment of women in connection with the ongoing.

In addition, he played a piece of a Sarkodie song from a few years ago that celebrated abortion but which the public loved wholeheartedly, exposing their hypocrisy in contrast to Yvonne’s demeanour. Prince David Osei wished for a society that was more understanding and caring.

He wrote on Twitter: “Dear Ghana 🇬🇭, I wanted to share something that has been weighing on my mind lately. As some of you may know, our country can be a funny place and sometimes it can be hard to understand the rules that govern our society.

The publication of Yvonne’s memoir on Sunday, June 18, 2023, stunned a lot of Ghanaians owing to her mentioning of some influential people in the book. This sparked a flurry of internet conversations and arguments.
