President John Dramani Mahama is set to deliver his much-anticipated State of the Nation Address (SONA) in the coming days following the recent formation of his Cabinet.

The announcement was made by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, the Minister of State in charge of government communications, after a Cabinet meeting.

“In a few days’ time, President Mahama will address Parliament and deliver a message on the State of the Nation,” Ofosu Kwakye stated. However, he did not specify the exact date for the address.

The State of the Nation Address, delivered in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, serves as a platform for the President to provide a comprehensive overview of Ghana’s current economic and social landscape.

This year’s address is expected to be particularly significant, as Ghanaians look forward to President Mahama’s vision for tackling economic challenges and driving national development.
