There was drama when multiple cops stormed the house of American rapper Polo G to effect his arrest.
On August 23, TMZ acquired video footage of the residence of the Chicago-based rapper located in Los Angeles, which showed police vehicles parked outside. Law enforcement officials entered the premises and detained multiple individuals in handcuffs. Notably, Polo G was among those restrained and taken into custody.
According to sources within law enforcement quoted by TMZ, the search warrant was executed in connection with a robbery. A representative for the artiste expressed optimism that the Los Angeles Police Department would handle the situation with sensitivity and openness. Polo G’s real name is Taurus Tremani Bartlett. He is an American rapper. He rose to prominence with his singles “Finer Things” and “Pop Out” (featuring Lil Tjay). His debut album Die a Legend (2019) peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
Bartlett’s initial foray into music production resulted in the release of his first recorded song, “ODA”, which he made available on YouTube. In 2018, he established a SoundCloud account and released “Gang with Me”, a track that quickly amassed millions of plays and helped to establish his growing popularity. Bartlett continued to build momentum with subsequent releases, including “Welcome Back” and “Neva Cared”.
In the latter half of 2018, he released “Finer Things”, a song he composed while incarcerated, which rapidly garnered millions of views. In early 2019, Bartlett collaborated with Lil Tjay on “Pop Out”, a single that reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and whose music video received over 200 million views on YouTube.
This success led to Bartlett signing a record deal with Columbia Records. He subsequently released several music videos, including “Deep Wounds”, “Through da Storm”, “Effortless”, and “Dyin’ Breed”, all of which were featured on his debut studio album, Die a Legend. The album was released on June 7, 2019, and peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200. Bartlett’s later single, “Heartless”, produced by Mustard, was included on his second album.
