Photos and videos from the funeral service of the late Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, affectionately known as KODA, have surfaced online, highlighting the presence of prominent dignitaries and celebrities who came to honour his life and legacy.
As reported by Ghanaweb, among the distinguished attendees were former Minister of Finance Mr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Chairperson of the National Development Planning Commission Professor Stephen Adei, and Dr Dacosta Aboagye, the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The gospel music industry was also represented by a host of KODA’s colleagues, including Joe Mettle, Uncle Ato, Ceccy Twum, Mary Ghansah, Sonnie Badu, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Eugene Zuta, Francis Amo, Diana Hamilton, Nii Okine, Akese Brempong, and Elder Mireku, who all gathered to bid their final farewell to the revered gospel musician.
The dignified all-white funeral service took place at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Dominion Centre on Spintex Road in Accra on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Following the service, KODA was laid to rest in a private burial, bringing to a close the final chapter of his impactful journey in gospel music and ministry.
