Presidential candidate of Nigeria’s Labor Party Peter Obi has paid a visit to music artist Paul Okoye and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, amid the ongoing conflict between Paul and his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

This visit comes in the wake of the escalating feud between the Okoye brothers, who were once part of the renowned but now disbanded P-Square music group.

Tensions heightened when Peter, often seen as the antagonist in their ongoing saga, released an open letter outlining various issues that led to their estrangement.

In his letter, Peter raised concerns about Paul’s frequent interviews, which he believes diminish his own contributions to their shared success, with Paul often positioning himself as the primary creative force and claiming to have written over 90 per cent of their songs. Peter argued that this narrative is unfair.

By sharing his perspective on the core of their conflict for the first time, Peter has influenced how fans and observers view the situation.

The controversy has sparked significant discussion and continues to polarize opinions, with fans aligning themselves with either side based on their interpretations of the events.

In light of this, Nigerian politician Peter Obi visited Paul’s residence to engage in discussions.

Following the visit, Paul took to his Instagram account to post photos of the meeting with Peter Obi and Jude, expressing his gratitude to the politician and wishing for continued blessings.

Taking to the comment section, many expressed hope that Peter Obi made some sense to them.
