The tension between some prominent men of God in Ghana often plays out like a storyline from a dramatic movie, with twists of betrayal, shocking revelations, and simmering rivalry.
The latest chapter in this saga has been brought to light by actor and outspoken NDC supporter Clement Bonney, better known as Mr Beautiful.
In an interview on Power FM, Mr Beautiful claimed to have witnessed the very moment the fallout between Rev. Owusu-Bempah and Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi began.
According to him, the once cordial relationship between the two influential pastors broke down during a tense phone call that escalated into threats.
“The moment Prophet Badu Kobi told Rev. Owusu-Bempah that he would no longer associate with him, Owusu-Bempah threatened to destroy his ministry. I was there when he said it over the phone,” Mr Beautiful revealed.
His words, though calm, carried a weight that hinted at the severity of the issue.
The actor further alleged that following the call, Rev. Owusu-Bempah retaliated by launching damaging rumours against Prophet Badu Kobi.
“That’s when he began spreading rumours that Prophet Badu Kobi drank blood and was involved in rituals,” Mr Beautiful added, visibly dismayed by the accusations.
