Nana Kwame Bediako’s recent presidential ambition, which he unveiled recently, seems to be causing a great deal of concern for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), as they have been making every effort to hinder his progress.
Having had his New Force convention, which was scheduled to take place at Independence Square, cancelled by the government at the eleventh hour, the young and successful business tycoon has now disclosed that his scheduled interview with GTV has also been cancelled.
Cheddar was supposed to appear on Ghana Television’s morning show on January 16, 2024, where he intended to address the audience regarding his plans for the people of Ghana and why he believes he is the right choice to lead the country.
However, the interview was abruptly cancelled, allegedly due to an order from higher authorities. In announcing the cancellation, Cheddar expressed how it reminded him of the previous cancellation of the convention.
His tweet on X read, “We are sorry to announce that my interview with @GTV_Ghana has been cancelled at the last minute by “orders from above”. This has brought back memories of The Convention. #TheNewForce The Voice of the people”.
