Ola Michael suspects that Chef Smith’s recent claim to the title of longest-cooking marathon holder, as recognized by the Guinness World Records (GWR), is not as straightforward as it seems.
The controversy surrounding Chef Smith was a major topic of discussion during the latest episode of United Showbiz, a show that covers entertainment news and various other relevant issues.
Expressing his views on the matter, Ola Michael, a former filmmaker turned radio personality, pointed fingers at Nana Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for their role in the Chef Smith scandal and the elaborate deception he orchestrated.
In his opinion, the ability to carry out such a national deception indicates the presence of significant hardships faced by individuals.
“This is a very big issue. For a man to sit and plan such a grand deception scheme is worrying but you cannot blame him. I will blame Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia because if not for hardship, I’m not sure he would do this,” he told MZGee on UTV.
“I am not glorifying what he did and this is my opinion. I know that because of the hardship in the system, a number of people have resorted to scamming now and it’s not the best.”
He continued “If there were jobs in this country for people like Chef Smith, would he have deceived all of us? Would he go and print a fake certificate? No, he’s looking for validation”.
