Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has shared a fascinating story about his bond with Burna Boy.
The rapper, who has been making waves with his unique sound and street-inspired lyrics, recently revealed that he had a dream about Burna Boy before ever meeting him in person.
Speaking on the Afrobeats Podcast with Adesope, Odumodublvck recounted the unusual experience, saying, “Burna Boy is my spirit animal—Skepta too. Before I met Burna Boy, I saw him in my dream, and we were eating pounded yam. Burna Boy told me that the day I saw him was the first time he had eaten pounded yam in two years.”
The revelation adds another layer to Burna Boy’s influence in the music industry. As a Grammy-winning Afro-fusion artist, Burna Boy has inspired countless musicians, and Odumodublvck’s dream speaks to the deep admiration he has for the “Last Last” hitmaker.
Their eventual meeting, seemingly foreshadowed by the dream, felt like destiny unfolding for the rising rapper.

Beyond his connection with Burna Boy, Odumodublvck also spoke about his relationships with other prominent figures, including Rema and Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigeria’s President.
Addressing misconceptions surrounding his interactions, he clarified, “Rema is my friend. Seyi Tinubu is also my friend.
Regardless of his father being the president and people throwing stones at him, he’s my friend. When he invited me to his home for dinner, he didn’t do it for me to support his dad. He did it because he loves my music.”
