Ghanaian music legend Obrafour has joined the growing list of industry greats praising Sarkodie, calling him “the greatest rapper I have ever seen.”
Speaking in an interview with Code Micky on September 30, 2025, the Hiplife icon reflected on Sarkodie’s rise to stardom, recalling his early days and the fire that set him apart from everyone else.
“I witnessed Sarkodie’s humble beginnings, and I could see the hunger in him to fight and achieve his dreams,” Obrafour said. “From the moment he entered the rap scene, I knew he was the chosen one. Sarkodie stood out, even when others were trying their best. I didn’t need anyone to tell me — I felt it in my spirit. He’s the greatest rapper I have ever seen.”
Obrafour’s endorsement adds to the chorus of admiration Sarkodie continues to receive for his consistency, longevity, and influence on Ghanaian rap.
Just recently, rapper Kojo Cue also crowned Sarkodie as the greatest of all time, citing his unmatched success, awards, and impact.
“Sarkodie is the greatest rapper of all time — it’s in the metrics,” Kojo Cue said. “He’s been consistent, his fanbase is massive, and no one else comes close. The most nominated, the most awarded — whether you like it or not, you can’t argue it.”
With praise coming from both industry pioneers and new-generation artists, it’s clear Sarkodie’s legacy continues to shape the sound and spirit of Ghanaian hip-hop.
