The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially terminated the appointments of all volunteers working within its offices as part of an ongoing restructuring exercise.

A circular dated February 21, 2025, and signed by the Director General, Mr. Felix Gyamfi, announced that the termination will take effect on February 28, 2025.

According to the circular, all volunteer positions will be discontinued except in districts where a single staff member is managing operations.

In such cases, one volunteer will be retained to assist. Additionally, vacant districts will maintain one assistant, a cleaner, catering staff, and farm workers to support ongoing activities.

NSA expressed its gratitude to the affected volunteers for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the Authority.

Furthermore, Heads of Departments (HODs), Unit Heads, and Regional Directors have been instructed to ensure that all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, is returned by the specified deadline.

This move signals a major shift in the NSA’s operations, likely aimed at streamlining resources and optimizing efficiency within the organization.
