Popular Instagram blogger Gistlover has alleged that Nigerian music icon 2Baba Idibia is battling a kidney condition.

This claim comes amid ongoing reports of marital troubles between 2Baba and his wife, Annie Idibia.

Taking to Instagram, Gistlover expressed frustration with what they perceived as a one-sided narrative in the couple’s public disputes.

“None of them is a victim, I hate if this story will be one-sided. It’s one of the reasons why I resumed back today, enough of the wrong gist to make one person look good!”

The post went on to disclose that 2Baba has been dealing with kidney problems since 2015. “Just so you know, Innocent [2Baba] is dying too, he has kidney problems since 2015 and has been managing.

“They both ruin each other, none of them is a saint. I dey come oo,” Gistlover wrote, hinting at deeper issues within the marriage.

The disclosure comes at a time when rumors of a potential divorce have been swirling, with both 2Baba and Annie staying relatively silent on the matter.

Gistlover’s allegations add a new layer to the ongoing narrative, suggesting that both parties are struggling in their own ways.
