Actress Hilda Dokubo has taken to social media to announce the death of veteran actor Columbus Irisoanga, popularly known as Igbudu, just hours after the untimely passing of 35-year-old actress Pat Agwu.
In a heartfelt post, Hilda Dokubo expressed the weight of the loss, especially the passing of Igbudu, a well-respected actor who contributed immensely to Nollywood, particularly in the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) Rivers State sector.
She shared, “There can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers State Nollywood.”

Her words reflect the collective grief of a tight-knit community that has lost a figure who had a lasting influence on emerging talents and the Nollywood scene as a whole.
Igbudu’s contribution to Nollywood spanned decades, with a significant presence in several films that gained him recognition and respect.
As a pioneer in the Uniport Rivers State Nollywood, he mentored many actors and was deeply involved in nurturing the growth of young talents.
