The 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations were announced, but no Ghanaian artist managed to secure a spot on the prestigious list, despite the rising influence of Ghanaian music globally.
On the other hand, their Nigerian counterparts, including heavyweights like Burna Boy, received nominations, continuing the trend of Nigerian dominance on the international music scene.
The Awards night will air on October 15 in Las Vegas to celebrate the best artists in hip-hop for the year under review.
Leading the nominations is Megan Thee Stallion with 12 nods, followed closely by Kendrick Lamar with 11 and Drake with 8.
