Entertainment pundit and media personality MC Yaa Yeboah made a strong statement during her appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz, addressing Ghanaians about the upcoming elections.
Yeboah stressed the importance of being informed and taking voting seriously.
“So I believe that at this point, if as a Ghanaian you still haven’t decided who to vote for by now, and you haven’t taken any initiative to know the ballot number your political party picked, you are unserious,” she remarked.
Ghana’s next general election is scheduled for December 7, 2024. This election will determine the President and the Members of Parliament (MPs).
It follows Ghana’s four-year electoral cycle and is crucial as it will decide the country’s leadership for the next term.
These two main political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), have historically dominated Ghanaian politics, and their candidates are expected to lead the race in the 2024 elections.
